The 2014 Rendezvous fireworks display was pretty spectacular, especially standing in the amongst the snow sculptures.

This years Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous queen contestants showing off what a proper pageant is all about. From carpentry and plumbing to poetry and dance, with a little martial arts thrown in for good measure. And of course, what pageant would be complete with out a firearm?

One of my favourite events of the Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous is always the Sourdough Sams dance competition. It is guaranteed to equal parts fantastic and cringe-inducing. And this years Sams really stepped up to the plate! If you missed it, you’ll be sorry!
The 50th anniversary of the Yukon Sourdough Rendezvous kicked off not with a bang, but with a cloud of vivid colour.
